If you exclude the other 7 classes, then yeah, I guess Guardian is ok. Kinda.

Since Mesmer is the Chuck Norris of professions, I'd have to say no.

Guardians... We should kill them.

Part of my beta coverage plans following this weekend's event is to do a more detailed preview of the professions I played, and guardian is on that list. It's definitely a fun profession if you dig the whole mace / hammer bashing thing. They're  somewhere in between a w/mo from GW1 and your more traditional paladin.

Guardian Pro Tip for Yski:  In the far southwest corner of Queensdale (lower level human area) look for the crazy woman with the beehives. At random points a mini-event kicks off where bears from the nearby woods smell the honey and begin attacking the hives. If you can successfully repel the attack, the crazy bee lady turns into a vendor who sells A Jar of Bees for 23 copper.

• Step 1 - Find and complete event
• Step 2 - Stock up on A Jar of Bees
• Step 3 - Throw A Jar of Bees at guardians in world PvP
• Step 4 - Retire for the day, knowing that you've done a good deed for all necromancers across Tryia

I will now spend all my gold on bees for world pvp.

The one thing I could imagine being even more badass is throwing honey, and then see a dozen bears run in to maul that person.

lol maybe a future expansion profession could be a Beekeeper!

Should definitely be a skill available to rangers who have bear pets. Quick, everyone suggest this when we get into beta!

Don't worry Haelyn I will probably be a necro at launch but I will gladly let you stand in the way of arrows, magic, and sharp and blunt objects alike wielded by mighty foes to protect my dress wearing ass. When you die from the numerous wounds you took to protect me I will shed a single tear before I resurrect your lifeless corpse to serve me for eternity.....what? Guardian seems like a great class, but Necro is obviously the best. :) I'll probably make a guardian and/or warrior at some point due to liking the look of plate on characters and because they seem pretty neat too though.

Looking at playing a warrior over Guardian, but who knows...I'll be trying out all the classes to see what I want to play as my alt.  Necro is still my fav. though.

For every one hit point you have we will match with one bee!

Not much may get accomplished with infinite HP vs infinite bees, but its bound to make a great show.

I'm almost tempted not to point out that since they necro's throwing bees at you, they will win, for while you loose hp, every bee you kill, they bring back to life as an undead minion, thus they truly do have infinite bees.

Oooh, a swarm of undead bees sounds brilliant! One might almost say it's the bees knees... 

Apart from the fact that bees, living or undead, don't have knees.
