Deserving of its own post is the latest offering from Qachit Gaming, a relatively new website from Haiel, a close friend whose work life involves quality assurance and home life involves gaming. That aside, he's published three wonderful videos of the Engineer in all its glory, running a condition focused build, complete with some truly excellent commentary.
It's nice to see the Engineer dealing some serious damage (contrary to what many say) while also making great use of dual pistols and with very few kits in sight. Be sure to head on over the Qachit Gaming to show your appreciation and don't forget to check out all three videos below. They really are excellent.

I saw these videos last week, and they really highlight how effective an engineer can be when played skillfully. The condition damage output is immense.
Well worth watching indeed.
Nice commentary. I enjoyed seeing an engineer do well in sPvP.
For me...I would love a discussion..not fighting...discussion on a build and rationale. With that..these action videos would be more understandable and have more significance.Hopefully in the future.
I'm planning on doing this in the future videos, to get more into the build itself rather then the execution that is, which hopefully will provide a clearer picture of why I do what and when :)
This was my first set of commented videos (ever) and it was an educating experience to say the least. Thanks for taking the time to check them out!

Nicely done commentary, and obviously skillful play is entertaining and informative also. The only critiques/suggestions I would have are;
Consider using the shield off-hand instead of the dual pistols. The burn you get from the #4 pistol skill doesn't come into play often enough to justify the off-hand pistol through it (in addition to the fact that you are getting more than enough burn conditions through skillful use of the Flame Thrower kit) and the #5 Glue Shot isn't anymore useful for control than the #5 shield skill Throw Shield, which provides dazes that also serve the purpose of adding a useful interrupt to your repertoire. The #4 shield skill also serves the added purpose of functioning as a Blast Combo Finisher, which allows you to stack some Might using your Napalm Combo Fire Field.
Otherwise, excellent use of utility skills in combination with your weapon skills.
Thanks for the sub and like!
As for your feedback, I'm not sure if I mention it in the video, if I don't the reason I was using the second pistol was because the Shield was bugged in BWE #3. The pushback from #4 would not always trigger, so the shield was way to unreliable to be used effectively for me in BWE #3.
Had it not been for the bug, I would use the shield for sure as I think it gives much more utility over the second pistol and I see I am not alone in this reasoning :)
Thanks again for taking your time!

The gameplay is excellent, would just love to see more build discussion, including trait lines and gear.
Can we plz get a link to his build added to the post or in a comment. TY
i use http://www.gw2build.com/
this is the build i have been working on.
I had made a build for the Engineer that focused on Crits and Endurance for dodging. would love some Constructive criticism as to what i should maybe adjust, was already thinking swap heal turret for the Med Kit. and maybe the Tool Kit for the elixir that removes conditions (Elixir C). EDIT - Made changes to more fit PvP. And added the build as a guide to allow for comments on the page and voting.
Enjoy

When life gives you lemons, shoot them back at life at high velocity.
In the third video you give some very sound advice for players wanting to improve their skills with a given profession. Filming yourself and watching the footage can certainly be an invaluable learning tool, and can help people make a lot more sense of things like the kill screen in sPvP.
Seeing what skills were used and the player who used them to defeat you is great, but during matches you don't really have time to analyze the info at all. Nor does it really provide context like "if you'd have dodged out of that last AoE you would have avoided it, and your heal would have been off cooldown and you would have survived." Practical stuff like that. :)
Latest post is now up, it details the build in full and also tries to explain why choices were made:

Check it out!
@Sardu, that is exactly why I think it is so good to watch yourself play, you get time to think about the the actions you took that eventually lead you to the defeat screen. I noticed how often I would toss elixirs one myself without having too which is a major waste and also that I tended to dodge when I did not have too. Its the little things you miss that become clear in the videos and it is the little things that make or break you in a fight :)
