Our friends over at ArenaNet and NCSoft were awesome enough to give us 500 beta codes to give away for the upcoming Guild Wars 2 beta weekend running from June 8-10. For those of you who haven’t already pre-purchased the game to secure access this is a great chance to dive into one of the beta weekends to check the game out.
We will be distributing the keys in conjunction with our parent site, TenTonHammer.com. While the giveaway won't technically start until tomorrow, we wanted to give our awesome community here at GW2Hub the info in advance to help you secure one of the keys.
Here is how the giveaway will work:

The keys for Saturday have all been claimed - we're looking forward to seeing you in the beta next weekend!
- We will be giving away two batches of keys (250 keys per batch) on a first come, first served basis.
- The first batch will become available at 12:00 PM (noon) Eastern time on Friday, June 1st, with the second batch available at 12:00 PM (noon) Eastern time on Saturday, June 2nd.
- As soon as the keys are made available, you can claim your key by visiting our parent site, TenTonHammer.com. We will be updating this page with a direct link to the giveaway, but you will also be able to navigate to it directly from the home page on Ten Ton Hammer if you prefer.
- On the giveaway page, you will be asked a simple question that our readers here at GuildWars2Hub should be able to answer pretty easily. For those of you who are newer to the site, I'll give you a hint: Delivering the correct answer on the giveaway page will be the only way to secure your key, so be sure to familiarize yourself with some of our regular, weekly features!
- You will also be given the option to sign up for the brand new GW2Hub newsletter that we'll be kicking off later this June. More details on the newsletter and additional opportunities to sign up will be hitting the site over the next couple of weeks, but this is a great opportunity to sign up early before the rush!
Redemption Details
Once you've secured your key, please follow these instructions for redemption to make sure you will be able to use it to participate in the beta weekend starting on June 8th.
Please Note: The keys will only grant you access to the next beta weekend. If you would like to secure access to all future beta weekends as well as 3 days head start access to the live game, you will need to pre-purchase the game which can be done on the official Guild Wars 2 website.
Key Redemption Instructions:
To get started, please take the BWE2 code and enter it here: https://register.guildwars2.com/
This step is critical! If you have an email address associated with ArenaNet (by participating in the last beta test in March, or if you have a Guild Wars 1 account), select Yes on the registration page and log-in with your previously created Guild Wars credentials.
If this is your first beta event for Guild Wars 2 or you do not have a Guild Wars 1 account, select No. Follow the onscreen instructions for setting up an account.
Once you’ve completed the beta key registration process, you can expect an email prior to the event detailing how to download the client.

That's part of why we decided to split the giveaway and run half on Fri and half on Sat. - so if you miss the first day, you'll still have a chance tomorrow. :)

Question guys, is this going to be like IGNs giveaway where you lose an accepted key during the account registration part or will a key you get on TTH by answering the question be unique to you and cannot be concurrently accessed/used by others?

So I'm guessing the TTH site doesn't use the same Login/PW info (got a login error)? It's not carrying over from here...and yeah the site is getting hammered.
The system is built to be a universal login, and you are indeed showing up within our database. If the issue persists for you, and you're sure you're using the correct login credentials etc, shoot me an email and I can try to get things sorted out for you. Damn key scrubs are slowing down my reading. TTH and the Hub have slowed to a crawl.

The reason these sites go down is because they're so full of unnecessary graphic cr*p I think. Advertisements, pictures etc. It would be wise to disable those when lots of traffic is expected..

Tried Diary Of and Dolyak Delivery and got "Invalid Password" with each
I'd assume the keys are gone at this stage, TTH and GW2HUB crawling and crashing when trying to login since 12:00
I'd assume everyone is having the same problem then. Only managed to get a response from the server 3 times in 20 mins
Our tech guys are actively diagnosing the site slowdowns caused by the sudden influx of new registrations.
As I write this we still have a few keys left from today's batch, but if you weren't able to claim one today, we'll have the second batch going up tomorrow. In between now and then we'll also be doing what we can on the back end to keep the sites running faster. :)

If your expecting a lot of traffic, you should update your servers man
We've actually been planning a hardware upgrade for a little while now, but the kicker is that the new hardware isn't expected to arrive until early next week. So while it won't necessarily help us in the short term, we're definitely aware of the need and already have things in motion on that front.
That is good news. The TTH forums have been getting slower and slower to load over the past few months.
