On the back of last weekend, ShadowSin has an almighty article covering the Human ethnic identification found in tyria.  At over 5000 words, it isn't a light read, but the information contained is excellent and will provide you with an overview much better than any Wiki.

Guild Wars 2: The Tin Man of MMO? caught my eye this week, not just because the title is completely unexpected, but because it does a great commentary on analysing community and the choices that ArenaNet have made, with many of the concerns surrounding Guild numbers and caps.

I love Under The Pale Tree.  The blog is clean, simple and focused while it has some really good writing from Verene.  I'd sincerely recommend you regularly visit it, but also take a look at their interview with Peter Fries and Bobby Stein. Wonderful stuff.

I'm regularly baffled by how people decide to name their websites and Wooden Potatoes Youtube channel is certainly one of the most original I've ever come across (if anyone knows why it's called this, please do let me know; I'm very curious!) however, they have some excellent commentary addressing community questions, especially on their newest feature: Guild Wars 2 Daily.

Sticking with Wooden Potatoes, there are some truly weird and wonderful wallpapers of the Tyrian Gods, as Potatoes, over at Angerina Warpride. I think Melandru has to be my favourite.

Deserving another shout is GuildMag who have now released chapters 3 and 4 of Age of Deceit, in what is turning out to be some brilliant fan fiction.

Distilled Willpower has a short article about being open with friends and colleagues about your love of games and the obstacles that may cause. Though not entirely related to Guild Wars 2, Will admits to being reluctant of sharing his passion for the game with those around him, based on their predictable reactions were they to know.  It raises an interesting point and I feel MMOG players are still very much pigeonholed.  Do all those around you know of your fascination for the game and the genre? I feel very fortunate to have friends and family who all take part in gaming.

Over at GW2WvW they have an excellent article covering possible builds in Guild Wars 2, from balanced to extreme and the benefits or flaws this brings.  I always try to find a balanced build, to do nothing exceptionally well, but have recently been leaning to something much more defensive.  Why Shouldn't I Put All My Eggs In One Basket is definitely worth reading.

Lastly, Dontain over on Youtube posted a brilliant video of an Asura dancing. It doesn't need anything more saying about it, it's simply awesome.
