First up is small blog from Entombed, who runs Divinity's Reach. His article from earlier in the week, titled How To Make A Good Build 101: Part 1.5 is a great running commentary of a players decision making around a profession and trait choices, culminating in his final build. Analysing traits and the depth they offer is something I really enjoy doing; there is far too little discussion of it for my liking!
Next on the list is a new blog called Tyrian Order that intends to focus on community PvP articles and guides. The site is clearly in its infancy but I think it has potential. Their warrior guide, Master Of The Melee, is lengthy but does a good job of providing an overview as well as some of the tactical nuances behind the class and will be especially useful for beginners who are learning the ropes.
Key and Dagger, a website focused solely on the thief also caught my attention. First and foremost I actually like the name and how it looks (I'm shallow like that) but it also has some good content. Though falling slightly onto the end of last Sunday, I really loved reading through the Beta Weekend Impressions.
Over at Hunter's Insight and staying with very profession centric blog posts, they've a great two part analysis of the engineer. Part 1 can be found here and part 2 went live on Wednesday. If you're planning on playing an engineer, they are definitely worth a read. If you aren't planning on playing an engineer, they are still definitely worth a read. On a personal level, I'm still struggling to agree with the engineers randomness and can't help but worry that as a result of it, it will never truly be a competitive profession (that is for discussion at a later time).
I don't know how I missed this, but GuildMag (a rather excellent site) have a fantastic piece of fan fiction called Age of Deceit. The prologue and first chapter went live some time back in April but the second chapter was released just this week. I love fan fiction and good fan fiction is especially hard to find so I'm glad to see GuildMag really championing it. I know I'll be looking forward to future chapters.
Still sticking with GuildMag, they've a great post from Faceless detailing his time with Guild Wars 2. A must read.
Going into tomorrows stress test, I know I'll be putting some of the Tips + Tricks over at MMOARPRZ into practice. The only thing left for me to do now is find a baby sitter. Any takers?
Finally, from Team Infused, Overdose has written a great little article about his three day experience of the last Guild Wars 2 beta phase. Reading peoples reactions to the game and how they spent their time is something I'll never get bored of.
Oh and before I forget, an amazing video arrived on our desks this week. I know we've already posted it on Hub, but I feel it deserves a second round of attention for anyone who might have missed it or if you're like me, to watch it for the tenth time.
If you have any news, editorials or community work you feel warrants our attention, make sure you let me know by dropping me an email at lewisb@tentonhammer.com

Thief site? I think I'll go sneak around and see if they have any valuabl- I mean, to see how my fellow thieves are doing
Are you a guardian? Let me introduce you to my Flesh Golem, he's getting a bit hungry.
I was just looking at some of my traffic flow from yesterday and noticed this site. I just wanted to say thanks Lewis for featuring my blog. I just started the blog around 3 weeks ago, and I am really glad to see people are enjoying it. Thanks again, its an honor to be part of the GW2 community.
Also, just to add to the link of sites that are good. http://beingathief.com/ was an excellent source community, but after the last BWE, the author has made a new site featuring the necromancer at http://deathshroud.com/ . Both are extremely detailed and whether you are new or adept at Guild Wars 2, you may find some interesting thoughts on his sites. Thanks again.
I love that list of things to have!
I used to have the greatest gaming chair. It was a recliner. So comfortable. Then it broke. I kept using it and it broke more, I kept using it, it broke even more. Finally, by the time it was bascially me sitting on a cushion on the floor, I threw in the towel and got a new chair. Its just a regular desk chair, but I'm working on the whole pillow/blanket workings to make it more comfortable. And of course there is the ever important lean back angle.
Still...the nest of pillows is most vital.
