How many Hall of Monument points do you have?
I am currently sitting on 30/50.
The hours I work are a little odd, and my days off are never the same two weeks in a row, but I might be able to help others with quick things like runs to get the Black Moa pets. Scheduling a time to do it would most probably be the tricky part.
16/50, I'm going for 30. With my current pace I'll get there by GW3 release, I think. It's mostly because I haven't played much and when I have I've just been experimenting with fun builds in JQ/FA

30/30 for me and considering trying to get a second account to 30 also.
I might just try and purchase items from other players that are hard to farm (rubies/sapphires) before GW2 comes out in case trading becomes harder later, but then worry about getting 30 somewhere down the line.
Absolutely none! I never played Guild Wars. How hard is it to get to 30?
30 is challenging unless you have a ton of plat at your disposal. You can get at least around halfway without money, just the time it takes to get some stuff done.
Because I'm nuts, I have two Guild Wars accounts. One is up to 50 points and the other is at 34 currently. Mind you I've been a regular player since the Prophecies launch, otherwise some of the monuments would have been much harder to fill.
In terms of time it takes to get to 30, if you're starting fresh and don't have a lot of coin in-game, it takes a good 2 to 3 months of regular playtime, but you'll probably still need to buy certain things like minipets from other players.
damn that long huh? I suppose some of the harder ones to get require a group as well or can you solo it? Never played GW1 so I am a total noob when it comes to the hall of monuments
I would probably have 5 or 6 if I ever got to the end. I have like 6 characters with my highest being 16 on provphecies and like an 10 on one of the expansions.
So I have a quite a few mini pets and the hero companion "Mox" to add to my vault if I ever got all the way through and unlocked it. (not even sure where the vault is).
I got 4 points up till now.. I have a ton of minipets in my inventory from years ago, but none are shown on my HoM.. why's that?
Edit. Doh. my own fault, forgot to add tapestry.. or rather, draped the wrong section.. heh. bookah.
Oh well, off to do the asura storyline, to get a tapestry from them

I've been planning to get to 30/50 or at least get high enough to get some rewards. But I've been going really slow.
I played GW Prophecies when it just came out (actually have the collectors edition, although I lost my account details which is a huge shame); and then switched to other games after I leveled to 20 and my guild kind of fell apart.
I recently rebought the whole trilogy + EotN (since i lost my Prophecies CE details), but I've yet to really get back into it. Maybe it'd be more fun if I found a good guild to play with or something; but going at it alone in the game is somewhat dull.
I've somehow managed to get 31 points, before the calculator was even released I had managed to get the equivalent of about 15 points just from completing campaigns and buying elite armour and weapons, plus I've been playing for years so I have naturally accumulated about 2-3 points worth of minipets without having to buy. It wasn't too hard from there to get another 10 points just filling gaps, it was the last 3-4 points to get to 30 which really presented a challenge as I'd run out of things which were already half done and had to do some new stuff. The release of Oppressor weapons really helped as they are much cheaper and easier to get than other elite weapons. I'm still going to keep adding stuff to the hall to try and get it higher but If there aren't any items past 30 points then I'm not really feeling an incentive. Good luck to all you monumentalists.

i just am not motivated by titles.
Yeah, it's kind of a bummer that the last 20 point stretch only rewards titles. I mean, I know why they handled it that way, but there should at least be some sort of cardboard crown and fake Prince Rurik mustache your character can equip with 50 points.
Still, I'm glad that they made it easier to obtain the physical rewards for people who haven't played as long, or have as much free time to grind out title tracks. Now if they would just make one of the ranger pet skins into an undead moa skin for necros we'd be all set!
I am currently at 11 points, with the great help of someone whose name shall remain in the dark (for now), working on it to get as much as possible till release and the limits of work and all that other annoying stuff that comes with real life.
Yea i only have 11/50 atm one that im stuck on now is the factions protector title. I need to finish one of the missions but as a foreign player. Then ill have my title.
I am glad that I got my 30/50 when I did. The price of Diamonds has gone through the roof (8 plat each) and Rubies (9.5 plat) and Sapphires (11 plat) are now worth more than Ectos (8.5 plat)!
The closer to launch we get the more GW1 prices will rise because of the influx of late-comers. I've seen some crazy prices for rare pets..
I'm at 12/30. Most of these I got from simply playing the game pretty casually for awhile. I never got around to going back for more difficult ones and probably won't now. But maybe after the beta ends I will have the motivation to go back

Maxed out my HoM and got GWAMM, but then again, I have been playing for over 6 years. Last titles to get were Saviour of the Luxons and Drunkard. I put off getting Drunkard for my entire game time (I don't drink in real life, and therefore didn't want my characters to!), and literally the day before they changed the title to a spammable one, I had given all my drinks to a friend (probably over 5000 points worth) to help him get his title. Much banging-head-on-a-wall was done after that
Not funny then, funny now though!
Slowly but steady, got my amount of points now to awesome 18, with the finishing of the Faction campain ...
...next in line, would be the dreaded Nightfall campain.
Well, lets see about that.

How far along (any/all of) the campaigns are you?
How many of the Hall of Monuments tapestries do you have altogether? I can tell from the HoM page that you have at least two; Devotion (miniatures display) and Resilience (armour display), do you have the other two yet?
I have all the tapestries, someone wa nice enough to give me a bunch of them. Chantilly has finished the main quest in Nightfall, and part of the Cantha one I think.
Also I dont necessarily want all 30 points - just up to the jellyfish (20) would be nice. :) I wont say no to 30 points though...
