About Resistance Gaming Network (RGN)
Resistance Gaming Network is a new multi-gaming community founded with the goal of bringing like-minded gamers together to play and dominate in the games that we love.  We embrace a healthy mix between "casual" and "hardcore" gaming habits and mentalities, and strongly believe that striking a proper balance between the two makes for a well-rounded community atmosphere.  Whether you spend more time on the computer than a psychiatrist might consider healthy, or a weekend-warrior looking for casual play, as long as your a friendly, outgoing player who is looking for a well-rounded guild you will find RGN a place to call home.

RGN in Guild Wars 2
Our Guild Wars 2 Chapter is our first official chapter at RGN and will act as the foundation of our community on which we will grow and expand.  Resistance is a PvP focused orginization that places a heavy emphasis on World vs. World PvP in Guild Wars 2.  Our goal as a guild is to create an active and vibrant social community where friends can get together to just hang out, and dominate. We intend to establish ourselves as a force to be reckoned with on the server of our choice, our name alone will strike fear into the hearts of our foes.  When we fight, we fight to win, but more importantly, we play to have fun. Therefore we believe that striking a healthy balance between competitiveness and casual fun as well as in-game time and out out-of-game time is key to maintaining a positive experience in an MMO. We welcome players of all levels of experience and expertise from seasoned MMO veterans to those who are looking to delve into their first MMO experience.

Our Goals for Guild Wars 2

• Create and maintain a vibrant, active and friendly guild atmosphere.
• Establish ourselves as a force to be reckoned with in the WvW arena.
• Host scheduled WvW events several nights a week.
• Participate in casual Structured PvP.
• Host competitive sPvP teams if enough interest is there.

Our Plans for PvP - WvW Guild Nights, and more!
At RGN we enjoy any and all forms of content found in todays MMO's.  However as a guild, much of our focus will be placed on the PvP aspects of Guild Wars 2, particularly World vs. World PvP.   Our goal is to run regularly scheduled World vs. World events somewhere in the neighborhood of 2-3 times a week.  During these PvP nights our WvW Officers will send out invites at the designated time before we head out to the Mists as a group to lay waste to anything that stands in our path.  Our WvW nights will likely last somewhere from 2-4 hours and anyone of any level or experience is more then welcome to join in the fun. Times/Days will be announced as soon as we have made decisions.

Aside from our scheduled WvW nights we will also be participating in both sPvP and WvW in a smaller capacity nearly every day.  Our Goal is to create an active environment where you can always find someone who is ready and willing to play a few rounds of sPvP or to jump into the Mists for some action.  We will also be looking into facilitating teams for both casual and competitive Structured PvP play if we receive enough interest.

What we are looking for:
Resistance Gaming Network is currently looking to recruit members of all levels of experience for our Guild Wars 2 Chapter from seasoned veterans of the gaming world, to those who are new to the MMO scene.   We do not recruit members based on their l33t skill, competitive rankings, or crazy twitch reflexes.  We look for members who have positive attitudes, share our vision, and want to be an integral part of our communities growth and development.  When we recruit, we place a high value on the following traits:

• Ages 18+ - Yes, we do enforce our age requirement.
• Dedication - We want members who are dedicated to our vision, and our community.
• Respect - Our members should always show the utmost respect while representing RGN.
• Thick Skin - Be able to take a joke, and a little bit of prodding.  It's never serious, and always in good fun.
