First up is an impressions piece of Guild Wars 2 from Tap-Repeatedly.com. If you haven't already read our coverage of it make sure you head on over to Tap to check it out. It really is well worth reading and I hope ArenaNet pay close attention to some of the points raised.
It's always nice to be reminded of why we play Guild Wars 2, and Raging Monkeys has a list of 50 things that do just that. I can't think of anything else he might have missed, can you?
On the flip side of Raging Monkeys article, ManyLaughs.com have listed 3 reasons you might not like the game. Do you agree? Are their worse problems?
We're going to be producing our own guides on how to make money in Guild Wars 2, but GW2GM have listed some of the most obvious methods.
Over at Talk Tyria, ValerieAnneC has a great article detailing her encounters of famous Guild Wars character unique to its lore. My particular favourite was her finding Dougal Keane; I had absolutely no idea he was in game!
Entombed has written a great article discussing profession homogenization. I think this was an issue many were concerned about, that the lines between each profession would blur and yet having played extensively they really do all play vastly different. This just goes to prove you don't need to pigeon hole a profession into DPS, Tank or Healer.
I'm hopefully going to be pairing up with Foundation soon, a fan project all about fan-fiction and roleplay. You can find their site here and any number of brilliant stories here. This website is definitely one to watch.
Teldo from Team Paradigm has published another Engineer video but this time he is mixing it up a little and using a rifle build. It's actually quite similar to my own and goes to demonstrate just how powerful the rifle can be. I will forewarn though, it really is squishy. He's also included links to his tournaments videos after which are well worth a watch for you Engineer fans.
This is a little exciting, a strange cave one eager explorer found near Lions Arch. I can't wait to find it.
Lastly, Taugrim has published several new videos over on his blog. The first is a guide to understanding the Revive and Finish mechanics of Guild Wars 2. The second is his first look at the mesmer profession. I actually think he plays the profession really well and I like his use of Phantasmal Disenchanter. I also don't often see many people use Decoy, but it's one of my favourite skills in the game. What does speak volumes is the sheer number of people who use sword+pistol and staff combinations. Surely if that isn't indicative of the other weapons needing some love, I don't know what is.

Does anyone know if a quickness buff used immediately with a finish move will beat a thief's cooldown for their cloak & port?
The "strange cave" is actually a full jumping puzzle. It wasn't finished yet, but several people found and explored the cave. One of the best videos of the full puzzle can be found here:

Hi,
Just wanted to say thanks for mentioning my article, Guild Wars 2: 3 reasons you might not like the game. As a fledgling blog, I greatly appreciate any mention.
I'll be reporting and posting on GW2 a lot. There's some other GW2 posts on the site, now, btw. I'm sure I'll be writing about it a lot. My most recent post is about the voice actors - some headshots and bios.
Thanks, again.
Ron
