We’ll be conducting a stress test on Monday May 14 from 11 AM to 6:00 PM PDT (-7 GMT).
This special test event is open only to Pre-Purchase customers who have registered their accounts. With your help, we can conduct important tests and address some of the issues we identified during our first Beta Weekend Event. During this event, all you need to do is play normally with a new or existing character on your Beta account using the same game client. Please note that since this is a stress test of our servers, you may experience some in-game performance issues. If you’ve pre-purchased Guild Wars 2 and wish to participate in the stress test, we recommend that you register the account and download the game client.
Pre-Purchase customers, log in to the Beta Forums for more information and/or to download the Beta client if needed.

For those on the East coast, it will be up and running from 1pm until 9pm.
Hopefully this stress test is a sign that a BWE is still on the cards for the month of May.

The wife is pleased because she took Monday off to do some stuff, so the stress test is an added bonus.
I may have to get up a bit earlier than usual to try an squeeze in a couple of hours before work.
Uhh.. It's from 9.00 pm to 4. 00 am for me and I have to go to school at 8.00 am

Yeah, I won't get more than an hour or so myself. I plan on spending that time looking at traits and trying builds etc. in structured pvp. Probably the best thing to do in such a short amount of time.

Don't forget to launch your client during this weekend. I just launched mine and it had a10 to 20 min update.
Since I start work at 3pm est, I'll probably only get about an hour to play, but I'm gonna do my best for an hour to play. Hopefully I won't have to wait for another update when i get up to play at 1.

Seems odd that they would try to do a stress test during US workday hours. The servers seemed to hold up pretty well during the beta weekend; surely there will be fewer players attending monday?
It's a perfect time to play for us in Europe (7pm onwards UK time). Maybe they're concentrating on stressing the European servers?
Needless to say, I'll be playing for as long as possible on Monday!
I'm thinking Wedge7 may have hit on it.
