SPARK Launches

Around the Web

Ten Ton Hammer SPARK

Early this morning we flipped the magic switch on the new Spark website, and it is now live for mass public consumption. Hurrah! If you haven't had the opportunity to check the live site out yet, you really should.

Under the stewardship of Sardu, SPARK brings together news pieces from the Ten Ton Hammer Network into a single, customizable location. Rather than me attempt to explain it however, why not head on over to the new SPARK website and take it for a test drive?

On a personal level and although Ten Ton Hammer are my pay masters, I've been fortunate to take part in the BETA and can honestly say I love the website and all that's been done by the team behind it. So much so, it's become my number one go-to place for all things news. You can read the full SPARK press release below.

Gaming Network Ten Ton Hammer Stays Ahead of the Curve by Offering New Browsing and News Service for Gamers

Pipe Creek, TX (Feb. 5, 2013) – Leading MMO network Ten Ton Hammer has launched SPARK, a new web-based application for Video Game articles from around the Internet. Created by the minds behind some of the biggest video game addons to date, SPARK is poised to become a new standard of gaming news content delivery.

“We’re excited about what this means for gamers,” said John Hoskin, Creative Director. “The Internet is consumed in a much different way now than it was when we first started. Now we can deliver the content gamers want – how they want it.”

Early testing of SPARK has yielded positive results with game developers as well. Leading Free-to-Play developer Perfect World offers that “SPARK makes it easy to find the MMO news that matters most.”

SPARK launches today in web format and is scheduled to have an update to the downloadable application later this month. From there Ten Ton Hammer plans to take the application even further by working with several game developers to offer game-specific tools to enhance the gaming experience through the SPARK application.

“The sky is the limit with what we’ll be able to do with the SPARK application,” continues Hoskin. “Later this year is going to be a very exciting time for gamers and developers alike. We can’t wait.”

Sounds interesting, I'll definitely take a closer look.

Every single forum I've used to spread anti guardian propaganda has subsequently died out on me. Coincidence? I think not!

Looks interesting. The customization portion of the page looks intriguing.

I like how it pulls news from different websites... like a central location for gaming news.
