In this guide we present to you a mesmer build focused on utilizing a combination of sword main-hand and pistol off-hand. This build is capable of dealing incredibly high damage and does, in many ways, play similarly to the sword/sword approach but with greater ranged damage. Alongside the use of the pistol is also a clear focus on maintaining your phantasms, rather than shattering them.

It's a question I've been asking myself over recent days, having looked back across this months double delivery of content. Criticizing free content or blinding praising it, simply because it is free, is not a particularly objective way of analysing what ArenaNet produce.
